Pool was ice cold when we stayed because the pool heater needed fixed which was a shame because the pool was why we decided to stay here. First room we got the heater was broken and was freezing cold (it was about 5 F that night and about 40 in the room. Had to talk the front desk clerk into getting us a new room, we had to explain we had small children with us and no way we could let them stay someplace so cold overnight before they relented to give us a new room. New room faced the parking lot so we got awakened at 4 and 5 am by noisy diesel trucks starting and idling. Walls are so thin you can hear everything even on the second floor. On our way to breakfast there was vomit all over the stairwell. All in all not a pleasant stay
Booked a room for my son and husband for the night of October 7th, 2017. Homecoming football game day for Minnesota State. Upon arrival the hotel desk clerk informed my husband they had no room for them and that they had "canceled it with Expedia weeks ago". Expedia emailed us asking how our check-in process went so they clearly did not get this information and my husband and son were effectively homeless for the night. Expedia is a booking vehicle. Baymont Inn and Suites was solely responsible for providing my loved ones the accommodations we booked and received confirmation for. They owed it to us to CALL US themselves if they intended to cancel our reservation (so they could make more $$ off of the room for the night). They are lucky my son and husband made it home alive that night (at 2:00 in the morning from the ridiculously long drive they weren't expecting to have to make after a long day) or I would have held them responsible for that as well.
Rooms are large, clean, and have a nice TV. Stay was quiet. Enjoyed my experience overall.
*Update- Due to events in town we couldn't find other accommodations. On the 3rd night of our stay, there were multiple altercations in the hall in the middle of the night. We called front desk after being awoken by screaming and people being thrown into walls. No answer from the night clerk. Ended up calling the police after the 2nd altercation. Our kids were beyond scared. I wouldn't recommend this hotel location to anyone who values cleanliness, service, or sleep.

There weren't many outlets in the rooms. Other than that, everything was pretty good. The breakfast had a good amount of options.
Thread bare sheets. Blood stains on curtains. Zero help or response from staff. Night clerk unable to have anything done until morning. Don't stay here. Baymont is normally top notch, but this experience has been horrendous.
