I like the clothing selection. I always find something. Decent prices too!
Mankato shopko is way over priced. It's hard to find an employee willing to help with anything in the evenings. Holiday shopping is thee busiest time of the year, I get that.. But I was there around 6pm on a Tuesday evening, and there were maybe 100 people in there and 2 cashiers, and even THEY were kind of rude. Not even 1 star!!!
This store will not be in business much longer. I am glad not to be supporting a family by working there, because with how the company treats loyal customers, it is a matter, not of whether, but of when Shopko won't have enough remaining to pay any employees.
Excellent customer service.a helper is easy to find good quality clothes even for the bigger woman or man.
Perfectly dreadful. Badly overpriced. Prices in every department are consistently considerably higher than both (nearby, in walking distance) Wal-Mart and Target for identical or comparable items. Shopko refuses to accept cash payment in person on customers' credit accounts; payments are only accepted by mail or online. The store is poorly organized, empty of both customers and employees, and very difficult to navigate. Food isn't fresh, with practically no turnover of inventory. Poor selection of practically everything.
Shopko is a very above-average store. It always has something on sale that you don't need, but are going to buy anyway. Store is organized in a way that makes sense and always has good deals on seasonal items. Electronic section is kind of garbage. Clothing is decent for the price as well. One of the highlights is the garden section in the summer huge variety and well taken care of by the staff. They also sell bottles of Dad's root beer which makes me very happy.
