Hobby Lobby is a great one stop shop for all of your crafting and project needs. There prices are very competitive and they have a very large selection. You can guarantee they will always be running some sort of sale, mainly because it is their business model, but either way their prices are unbeatable. They offer the largest selection of party supplies beating any party store in town, crafting supplies, home decorations and furniture, as well as the obvious hobby supplies.
This has to be the crabbiest store in Mankato besides Walmart. Is it customary to work there that you must be a crabb ass and not be able to say hi to the customer? I wish the other craft stores in town would carry the stuff I buy from your store so I would not have to come in at all. And calling the workers crab asses is being nice. And the managers are not friendly either.
Asked an employee for help. She didn't even bother finding out what I needed. Directed me to the cashier area and said maybe they could help. I followed her all the way to the employee break room. Told her she could go ahead and put my items back. I was told it was a shift change time. I'm guessing with that level of customer service, they won't be open for very much longer. Never in my life have I ever done anything like this! It explains why I enjoy online shopping so much more! Won't ever walk into that store again! Sad!

Smile at your customers and not a fake smile, ask if they need help if they look like they cannot find something. Yes, you need to get the shelves stocked, but the customer should always be your #1 priority. You would not have a job without them.

Always has a great variety of craft supplies. I primary go there to purchase home decor- there's a wide selection of pictures, metal art and wall hangings. The best part is there's always something on sale, or you can usually find a coupon online for a percentage off an item at full-price.
