I would give them a zero if possible. I stopped in for the first time with 17 pairs of jeans most of which were Silvers in a thirty one bag. There were three staff working and they barely could take the time out of their conversation about the parties they were at over the weekend to greet me. The girl took 30 seconds to ask if I'd been in before. When I said no she said fill this and this out and then rattled off about what they would buy and that I would get 30% of what they sell it for. She took my bag and started going through it carrying on with their conversation. After finishing filling out the sheet I stood there for a minute and finally asked if they needed anything else and she just said "nope". Three days later I call to ask how long it takes after dropping clothes off. The girl was very annoyed and said "It's first come, first served". So I asked if I dropped it off three days ago would it be done. She says "you need to pick up your stuff same day" when I asked why no one told me this she just said they should have. So I asked what happened with my stuff and she said it was probably donated. She said she would have to talk with the owner about it. And of course the owner won't be in until Saturday. Crappy service all around.
Clothes are a little high for used clothes and the employees here are rude they get in your space when your shopping and if you give them too many clothes u don't want so the clothes can be put away you get eyes rolled at you. Just spolied little girls that work there...
I really like shopping here, but it's hard to find cute bigger clothes. The small and medium sections of everything are huge, and then anything larger has very slim pickings. This Plato's has more large clothes than the one in West Des Moines, so I like this one way better. They have good prices and the workers are super nice and the store is mostly well organized.
This place very easily discriminates against plus size people, not wanting to by anything over a size 9 or XL. not to mention they are very clearly lying about the time frame of when things are cool, stating it's within a year and a half but in reality it's probably more like 6 months. I am never giving them my business again mainly for the reason that they buy your items for cheap and sell them for 5 times what they are worth.
Great for women with good selection and fine prices. Minimal make apparel however.
