I have visited this Church a few times. I thoroughly enjoy the services! However, when approaching the Pastor, I found our interaction to be very uncomfortable. He spoke a lot of which seat I chose in the center. It reminded me of my middle school days. (I am 32 years old, by the way.) He also poked me in the chest in a way that was confusing and awkward. I feel that he was challenging my character, rather than welcoming with a natural greeting. I have had many exchanges with people in my 32 years of life. I am not an elder by any means, and it is not for me to decide the motive of man. However; I am not new to human interaction! I find it all too common that men feel it is their responsibility to figure out what pride and arrogance issues others are carrying within a first meeting. Often this manifests as chest poking. One can't really call it an assault, yet one also can't say this behavior is typical. As a disabled and vulnerable adult, I am feeling harrassed by this Pastor.
I fear writing this review, for I feel that the members and Church staff, may find it offensive. However; this is the experience I had tonight. I am happy to offer a direct and honest account. I will be returning to this Church. I DO recommend this Church to others. I recommend Church to others in general! I am looking forward to the next service!
Great ministrion in every aspect. Great fellowship. A+++ through. A fantastic place to enjoy God.
The sincerity and love of Jesus built this church and that same foundation is felt through every service, every encounter, and every member of the body of Christ. God has blessed this church in abundance and, in return, this church blesses God and all of his children regardless of demographic. Praise Jesus! Thank you New Creation, for being a church that takes the bold stance of integrity and kindness rather than a church focused on complacency and tolerance.
Went there for 5 years and still consider them family. If you want authentic people, worship and teachings, this place is for you. Never met more humble leadership in my life. This place will rock and change your world in your relationship with Jesus.
I was greeted very warmly by another Pastor. He was kind, welcoming, and I felt very comfortable with his greeting. His introduction included a handshake and smile with compassion. I did not feel challenged by his behavior. I do not feel harrassed by this person, who gave a more natural and ethical greeting. There was no division in his actions, and no room for confusion.
