Great church with an Awesome Congregation
Surprisingly down-to-earth and friendly. Sunday 9:30 service was a good mix of styles: contemporary enough to be relevant without being obnoxious, while also traditional enough to be familiar without being stodgy. The spectacular organ by Robert Hoppe was built in 2005, and two very kind people who knew what they were talking about were enthusiastically helpful in discussing it with me, even showing me into the locked chamber housing the bellows, 16-foot stopped gedekt, wind regulator, tremolo unit, and electrical relays. I look forward to hearing it in the foreseeable future.
