Beautiful park all year round. Ponds, fountains, large grassy land shaded with large mature trees. They have ball fields and a large hill for sledding. Awesome child interactive playground and animals in the summer time. The park is at the junction of the Blue earth and Minnesota rivers.
Great place to walk or just sit and relax. The animals are fun to see. The playground is cool if you have kids. And when the winter holidays come, the Christmas lights are fantastic!
This is the first time I've walked through the entire light display and it's truly amazing of all the work that is put in the park area. It would be nice to have the music play louder. I have driven through it and it's nice to listen to the music on the radio. Otherwise the lights are awesome. Great job to everyone involved with putting this precious display together for everyone to enjoy. Merry Christmas!!!
I have been coming to this park since the early 80's and I have always brought my kids here whenever I was in Mankato. I love the little zoo and we always go fishing one the Minnesota and blue earth rivers. In the winter we go sledding on the huge hills and for 6 years now they have been lighting up the entire front half of the park with Christmas lights. It's quite the sight to be seen. I love this park and highly recommend it for any season
The Kiwanis holiday lights at Sibley park are becoming our Christmas tradition. They are beautiful. You can drive through or park your car and walk. There are over 1,000,000 lights to see and it's free. Donations for local food shelves are accepted. Merry Christmas!
