Best spot to study as an MNSU student

This is a really nice library, I mainly used to it to prepare for my exams. The only thing I didn't like is their hours, they are fine for Monday and Tuesday but for the rest of the days of week they are not good. As with hours upto 5:00 pm a working person can not get benefit. This is a public library, I think this should be able to provide service for all class of people (both working and non-working) Even then I am rating it 5 because whatever they are doing, they are doing very nicely.

Staff is helpful and resources are available.

Overall this is a great library that has a wide selection of material to choose from. I have this library a 3/5 because of three, I think, major problems that outdate it. First of all, they have no cell phone policy that is posted everywhere but do not enforce. They need to figure out what they actually want with the policy. Perhaps a more modern rule would be that they do not want people taking phone calls in the library or that their cell phones should at least be on silent. Either way, they need to be more clear and then, enforce what they think is important for their library community. Secondly, they only allow you to use the computer for an little over an hour. While the reason is clear, it only shows that they need to modernize and make more computer available if there is a demand that high. Libraries cannot seem anti-techonlogy in an very digital age. Lastly, their choice of reading options for children in a language other than English are severely wanting. In a modern America, people speak more than just one language, and many people find bilingualism to be an asset and not a liability. For this reason, it is imperative that they expand this section. That being said, this is a very clean and comfortable library that could easily receive five starts with a few modernizing changes so that they do not end up making themselves irrelevant.

This is our local library we go here at least once a week it's always clean the staff is friendly
